We are looking for a Solution Architect – AWS & Alibaba Cloud to support the growth of our cloud partner ecosystem in Malaysia. This role will focus primarily on AWS partner enablement and partner-led opportunities, while also providing technical support for Alibaba Cloud initiatives.

You will work closely with channel partners, vendor alliance teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to design cloud solutions, support go-to-market activities, and help partners build the capability needed to drive customer adoption.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead technical support for AWS partner-led opportunities, including customer discussions, architecture reviews, workload sizing, pricing validation, and migration assessments.
• Design and deliver partner enablement activities such as workshops, immersion days, hands-on labs, and certification readiness sessions.
• Support partners with AWS Partner Network requirements, funding programs, solution assets, and Well-Architected best practices.
• Act as a technical point of contact for AWS alliance and partner solution architect teams across Malaysia and ASEAN.
• Provide technical guidance for Alibaba Cloud partner opportunities, including solution scoping, sizing, architecture support, and partner onboarding.
• Contribute to internal practice development by maintaining technical readiness, sharing field insights, and supporting reusable cloud solution assets

• Strong experience in cloud pre-sales, solution architecture, partner enablement, or channel technical roles, with solid exposure to the AWS ecosystem.
• Good working knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, EKS, migration services, and cost management or FinOps.
• Familiarity with AWS Partner Network programs, funding mechanisms, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Ability to engage confidently with partners, customers, and vendor teams through presentations, workshops, and solution discussions
• Willingness to build Alibaba Cloud capability, including certification and technical enablement with support from the business.
• Fluency in English; ability to support Mandarin-speaking partner conversations would be helpful but is not essential.
