Risk Services SpecialistPRIMARY PURPOSE: To provide risk control services designed to assist and support the organization with assessments, injury prevention/mitigation, reduce the cost of risk, and/or facilitate internal and/or external client compliance with regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes compliance and safety assessments to a wide range of internal and/or external customers; provides value-added compliance and safety consulting services to mitigate risk factors.
- Identifies, analyzes and evaluates conditions and practices including (but not limited to) incident analysis; program audits and reviews; regulatory compliance issues; and research of risk-related studies.
- Assists client and internal stakeholders with development and implementation of risk mitigation programs and procedures to include policy, procedures, risk reduction strategies, training, and application/role of vendors.
- Maintains current knowledge of and adheres to company internal policies and procedures, corporate directives, standard operating procedures, professional account management standards, and client service standards.
- Communicates information to include interpretation of standards, loss reports, recommendations, presentations, analyses, advice, and counseling.
- Collaborates with colleagues to communicate and train on associated programs.
- Serves as point of contact on company internal and client external compliance and safety evaluation assignments; compiles information from multiple sources, assigns insourced and outsourced requests for the evaluations, and maintains logs and other program reporting.
- Completes and/or assists with OSHA and other regulatory reporting projects.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree with major in technically related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Ability to obtain professional certification required.
Experience
Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years of risk or environmental health and safety (EHS) related services or technically related experience.
