from Red Hat careersThe Red Hat Consulting team is looking for an OpenStack Consultant to join us in Puteaux. In this role, you will work as a subject matter expert in Red Hat’s infrastructure and cloud technology. You’ll answer questions about best practices around automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover setups and lead the on-site delivery and implementation of Red Hat’s technology that delivers freedom, flexibility, and outstanding performance. You will gain an understanding of our customers’ infrastructures, and business issues and you will make recommendations appropriate to their environments. This is a great opportunity to build on your core base of knowledge and work in a fast-paced environment promoting Red Hat’s solutions.
What you will do
Implement automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on infrastructure concerns including networking, storage, virtualization, security, logging, monitoring, and high availability and system resilience
Serve as a subject matter expert on site, addressing technical, developmental, or strategic IT needs
Learn new technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs
Adapt to changing customer requirements
Manage problem identification, system architecture definition, software specification and design, testing, and deployment of complex open source solutions
Respond to incidents, escalations, and exceptions in a professional manner
