Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior SAP WM Consultant, you will:

 

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of warehouse processes using SAP WM, from requirements gathering to go-live.
  • Conduct workshops to analyze business needs and define inbound/outbound processes (receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping), as well as physical and cycle counting.
  • Configure warehouse layout (storage types, bins, activity areas) and manage integrations with SD/MM/PP/QM modules.
  • Support testing phases (UAT), cutover, and hyper care, ensuring proper documentation and governance.
  • Collaborate with project teams and contribute to pre-sales activities and solution demos.

Required technical and professional expertise

 

  • Solid experience with SAP WM in implementation or rollout projects.
  • Strong skills in customizing (SPRO) and managing storage types, bins, picking and put away processes.
  • Knowledge of integration with SD/MM/PP/QM modules.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze system logs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

 

  • Knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and advanced functionalities.
  • Experience in migration projects from WM to EWM or upgrades to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Familiarity with complex processes such as Cross-Docking, VAS, Yard Management.
  • Integration with automation systems (WCS, voice-picking, barcode).
  • SAP certifications in WM/EWM.
  • Experience in international environments and industries such as logistics, retail, pharma.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
