What you'll do
Core tasks for this role include:
Lead Product & Customer Acceptance: Lead PAT/CAT for Viasat IFC systems, ensuring software and hardware integrate seamlessly for global airline partners.
Drive the AppleSeed for IT Program: Proactively test new iOS and macOS Beta releases 6–12 weeks prior to public launch to identify and mitigate "Day Zero" connectivity issues.
Ensure Simulation Fidelity: Audit and update ARINC 429 and FMC simulator profiles to match modern aircraft burst rates, preventing "on-wing" failures.
Modernize through Automation: Transition manual test protocols into a modern automation framework, utilizing Claude Code to accelerate script generation.
Enforce Zero-Drift Policy: Conduct environment audits to ensure lab configurations match the production "Golden Build," preventing service outages.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Software Release Lead, Delivery PMO, and Product teams to align testing timelines with global fleet deployment.
