Job Overview

The Security Manager is responsible for protecting Viasat company personnel and assets while ensuring efficient, customer‑focused security operations. The manager serves as the primary coordinator between the site and Viasat Global Security headquarters to manage risk and maintain compliance requirements in the physical security, facility security and life safety domains. The role oversees daily security workflows, security staff scheduling, hiring, training, and performance management, fostering a service‑oriented culture across all shifts. They ensure compliance with policies, maintain a positive work environment, support team development, and continuously identify improvements to security processes and procedures, while remaining flexible to support additional operational needs as they arise.

Job Responsibilities

• The Security Operations Manager serves to protect all company assets and ensure fluid, efficient, and effective customer service.
• Foster an attitude of service within the Security team and work closely with Shift Leads to ensure that all shifts are running effectively and as desired.
