What you'll do
- Design and implement carrier-grade IP/MPLS networks, including core, aggregation, and edge layers.
- Lead engineering efforts across BGP, IS-IS/OSPF, LDP/SR, and EVPN/VXLAN architectures.
- Maintain and optimize Layer 2/3 transport, subscriber management, and peering infrastructures.
- Develop automation and telemetry for provisioning, monitoring, and fault detection (Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
- Drive network scalability and capacity planning aligned with traffic growth.
- Perform deep-dive troubleshooting of routing, forwarding, and optical transport issues.
- Work closely with NOC, architecture, and platform teams to maintain uptime and performance SLAs.
- Contribute to vendor evaluations, network migrations, and standards documentation.

You will lead teams in the troubleshooting of the most complex data network and hardware problems. You will be empowered to research technological advancements and evaluate complex data networking technologies to understand their potential and to recommend future direction.
