Digital Sales Account Manager (Belgian market)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands | Reports to: Team Lead Business Development | Work Arrangement: Full time (hybrid) | Visa Requirements: Valid working visa for Netherlands | Language Requirement: Fluent/professional in Dutch and English, written and verbal

 

As a Digital Sales Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our SME clients, managing relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery. In this role, you will focus on driving sales, addressing software requirements, executing renewals, managing escalations, and maintaining consistent coverage across all assigned accounts. Your role will be pivotal in fostering trust-based relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship & Advocacy: You will build strong, trust-based SME client relationships, represent client interests internally, and promote success stories
  • Service Delivery & Coordination: You will act as the main point of contact for inquiries, coordinating with internal teams to deliver digital services effectively
  • Renewals & Growth: You will drive renewal strategies and negotiations while identifying upsell and growth opportunities
  • Account Management: You will maintain a deep understanding of client business landscapes to ensure full account coverage and value creation
  • Issue Resolution: You will manage post-sales escalations and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve challenges efficiently
  • Data & Performance Focus: You will leverage data and metrics to guide sales actions, optimize performance, and improve account strategies
 

What we need to see from you

  • Technology sales experience
  • You speak Dutch (Flemish) and English, French would be a nice bonus
  • Expertise within customer onboarding, account handling, and escalation management 
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Structured approach to request tracking and teamwork
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction with a continuous learning mindset
