As our new Microsoft Partner Program Advisor, you will guide Microsoft partners through the full Microsoft AI Cloud Partner Program, helping them navigate designations, specializations, incentives, and investment opportunities. You will analyze each partner’s position, identify growth opportunities, and advise on the right actions to maximize the value of their Microsoft relationship and unlock available funding and benefits. Working within a global Microsoft partner ecosystem at SoftwareONE, you will support the growth and success of the partner network by ensuring they fully leverage their partnership potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Designations & specializations
- Guide partners on achieving and advancing Microsoft Solutions Partner designations through clear criteria insights and roadmap support
- Monitor program changes and proactively advise on maintaining and upgrading partner status and specializations
- Co-op funds, MDF & investment programs
- Identify relevant co-op funds, MDF, and investment programs and align them with partner growth ambitions
- Support partners in qualifying activities, claim submissions, and ensure deadlines are met to maximize funding
- Incentives & partner benefits
- Provide clarity on incentive programs and support accurate, timely claims via Microsoft Partner Center
- Raise awareness and report on partner benefits, earned incentives, and missed opportunities
- Advisory & partner enablement
- Act as a trusted advisor, conducting regular partnership reviews and defining next steps for growth
- Stay up to date through trainings and events while tracking partner progress and supporting reporting
What we need to see from you
- Bachelor’s level (HBO+) working and thinking capacity, preferably in Business IT, Commercial Economics, Computer Science, or similar
- Proven work experience in an IT channel, Microsoft partner, or software environment
- Knowledge of or strong affinity with the Microsoft partner program (designations, Partner Center, incentives, and/or co-op funds)
- Analytical mindset, translating complex program structures into clear, actionable guidance for partners
- Proactive attitude, anticipating opportunities and supporting partners before they need to ask
- Excellent communication and persuasive skills, both in client interactions and written communication
- Highly accurate and structured approach, with attention to detail when managing deadlines and fund claims
