The role
Role Overview
As a BDE Manager – Cloud Services you will lead a team of Azure & GCP solution specialists and architects supporting presales engagements. You will be responsible for driving solution excellence, team capability development, and successful customer outcomes by aligning business needs with scalable Azure & GCP architectures.
Key Resposnibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Azure & GCP solution architects and presales specialists
- Own presales strategy and solution quality for cloud opportunities
- Guide complex customer engagements and act as a trusted technical advisor
- Drive standard architectures, best practices, and cost‑optimized designs
- Partner with sales teams on pursuits, RFPs, proposals, PoCs, and deal shaping
- Ensure smooth handover from presales to delivery teams
- Build strong customer relationships, including executive engagements
- Promote innovation, certifications, and continuous learning within the team
What we need to see from you
- Strong background in Azure & GCP solution architecture and presales
- Proven people leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, identity, and DevOps
- Experience with cloud migrations, modernization, and governance
- Ability to balance technical strategy, business outcomes, and team success
- Confident communicator with customer‑facing and executive presentation skills
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments
- Exposure to global or distributed teams
- Commercial and deal‑shaping experience
