The role
Join our Global IT & Software Asset Management (SAM) team and play a key role in supporting world‑class software governance for one of our major clients.
We are looking for a detail‑oriented, proactive professional to manage software requests, maintain data quality, and collaborate closely with global stakeholders.
As part of our Global Team based in Gurgaon, you will administer software requests and ITSM services for users around the world. You will work directly with the DSC Team Leader at xDC ITPM and partner with the Global Service Owner to drive operational excellence in Software Asset Management. Your role will help strengthen the operational backbone that supports our client’s strategy towards efficient, compliant, and cost‑effective software usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end software requests including approval, denial, or recommending alternative options based on client criteria.
- Suggest cost‑effective software alternatives and support license optimization via re-harvesting where possible.
- Process SAM tickets and standard software requests through the ITSM system.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date information in the in‑house software database.
- Manage and support updates in publisher portals.
- Ensure SLA compliance, timely communication, and high‑quality customer experience.
- Perform inventory and consumption management activities.
- Maintain strong data quality, including structured data entry and software information updates.
- Research data from multiple sources to support SAM processes.

- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and time‑management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to follow defined guidelines and analyse information carefully.
- Proactive mindset, fast learner, and ability to innovate when needed.
- Good typing speed; additional language skills are a plus.
