Responsibilities WHAT YOU’LL DO – Senior Analyst – Investment Performance As a Senior Analyst in Investment Performance at Principal, you'll be instrumental in providing reliable and timely performance measurement and portfolio analytics. Your expertise will aid portfolio management and client reporting, ensuring flawless delivery and remarkable results. Ensure accurate and timely performance measurement alongside portfolio analytics to assist portfolio management and client reporting. Apply regulatory and operational procedures, including Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS), and maintain strong controls and documentation. Act as a subject matter expert (SME); independently investigate and resolve complex data and process issues and explain root causes and fixes. Lead or take part in projects that support new initiatives, process evaluations, and system improvements. Conduct ad hoc analyses and research to answer business questions and improve decision making. Develop strong connections with internal groups—Operations, Request for Proposal (RFP), Relationship Management, Information Technology (IT)—and external collaborators including clients, boutiques, and the GIPS verifier.
