What You'll Do We're looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Retirement and Income Solutions architecture team. In this role, you'll help drive digital transformation initiatives for our Annuities and Principal Custody Solutions products through strategic influence with portfolio leaders. You'll have the opportunity to: Lead portfolio architecture strategy through execution, translating business priorities into actionable architecture outcomes that enable transformation and long-term value Define and evolve enterprise architecture standards and frameworks, including principles, patterns, and guidelines that drive consistency, scalability, and strategic alignment Provide architecture leadership and governance, ensuring business capabilities and technology platforms meet current needs while positioning the enterprise for future objectives Partner with business and technology leaders, delivering architecture expertise for initiatives and influencing how architecture is consumed and applied Drive architecture delivery in an Agile environment, contributing to enterprise roadmaps and advancing architecture practices across assigned business areas and domains Advance innovation and the EA practice, advocating for reuse and adaptability, exploring emerging technologies, and—when applicable—leading and developing architecture talent Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives.
