Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical expert and trusted advisor for PowerArtist, specializing in RTL power analysis, power optimization, and low-power design methodologies.
- Drive technical pre-sales engagements to identify, qualify, develop, and close new business opportunities.
- Lead customer discovery sessions and kickoff meetings to understand design challenges, success criteria, and business objectives.
- Deliver compelling technical demonstrations, workshops, and executive presentations that clearly communicate the value of PowerArtist.
- Own and lead customer evaluations from planning through successful completion, ensuring achievement of agreed technical and business objectives.
- Define evaluation strategies, success metrics, and proof-of-value plans that align with customer requirements and drive purchasing decisions.
- Partner closely with Sales teams to develop account strategies, overcome technical objections, and accelerate business closure.
- Conduct competitive evaluations and articulate PowerArtist’s technical advantages, differentiation, and return on investment.
- Build strong relationships with engineering teams, technical management, and executive stakeholders within strategic customer accounts.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing customers and drive increased adoption across new projects, teams, and business units.
- Translate customer requirements into practical solutions, methodologies, feature enhancements, and product roadmap recommendations.
- Collaborate with Product Management and R&D to prioritize customer needs and influence future product direction.
- Provide advanced post-sales support, including deployment assistance, methodology adoption, workflow optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
- Lead complex customer escalations and coordinate cross-functional teams to drive rapid issue resolution and customer success.
- Deliver technical training, enablement programs, and best-practice guidance to maximize customer productivity and product adoption.
- Develop reusable technical collateral, application notes, benchmark reports, evaluation guides, and demonstration environments.
- Mentor and coach Application Engineers, providing technical leadership and promoting engineering excellence across the team.
- Represent the company at customer events, industry conferences, webinars, and technical forums as a recognized subject matter expert.
- Drive customer success, referenceability, and long-term partnerships that contribute directly to revenue growth and market expansion.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitive technologies, and emerging customer challenges to identify new business opportunities and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor design, EDA, ASIC/SoC design, or application engineering.
- Expert-level knowledge of RTL design, digital design methodologies, and ASIC/SoC development flows.
- Deep understanding of power analysis, power optimization, low-power design techniques, and PPA trade-offs.
- Extensive experience with EDA tools used for RTL design, verification, synthesis, power analysis, and implementation.
- Proven track record of leading technical pre-sales engagements and winning strategic customer accounts.
- Demonstrated success in conducting technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, benchmarks, and competitive assessments.
- Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to influence engineering teams, technical management, and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions and business value.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with the ability to address complex design and methodology challenges.
- Experience collaborating with Sales, Product Management, R&D, and Customer Success teams in a cross-functional environment.
- Strong presentation, communication, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and customer training sessions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple customer engagements and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across teams.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Tcl, Python, Perl, or Shell.
- Understanding of verification methodologies, simulation, synthesis, and implementation flows.
- Knowledge of advanced semiconductor architectures, low-power methodologies, and emerging industry trends.
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and capable of operating independently in a customer-facing expert role.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements, technical workshops, and business development activities.
