Responsibilities
- Financial period end closing activities - month, quarter and year-end - for subsidiary set of book(s), including pre and post close analysis, corporate narratives.
- Review of period-end major issues and reports and country score cards, working well others and cross functionally.
- Production of statutory accounts for the assigned legal subsidiaries, including financial statements and related schedules and reporting according to US and Local GAAP as well as local legal rules.
- Coordinate external audit and liaise with external auditors and help ensure the audit on the statutory accounts is on time and on budget.
- External reporting - regulatory reporting, central bank, statistics etc.
- Country compliance packs - Audit variance analysis, CGM scorecards, spend analysis, other local financial and related analysis. The level of details may vary from country to country based on requirements from external audit, CGM and country controller.
- Assist the country controller in country local tax and treasury and other compliance related matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and a member of a recognized Professional Accountancy body will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 4-6 years relevant experience
- Ability to independently analyze, interpret, summarize and articulate financial data in a clear and concise manner.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle ERP System will be an added advantage.
- Good leadership and organizational skills.
