Responsibilities


 

  • Proactively manage the procurement of material from a global supply base.
  • Work closely with Cross functional team for meeting collaboration and problem solving.
  • Managing the assurance of supply of these materials, support short Lead time demand pull in, PO rescheduling and cancellation.
  • Responsible for maintaining item supply chain setup in the system per defined guidelines and processes.  
  • Assurance of Supply and Supplier relationships:
    • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers
    • Negotiation for the best pricing, MOQ, Lead time and terms
    • Manage the material forecasting to suppliers
    • Expedite to ensure continual flow of materials
    • Resolve the PO problem and closure of shipment hold/payment issue in timely manner.
  • Support departmental operational requirements and drive achievement of monthly KPIs.
  • Participate in or leading process improvement efforts to align with business needs such as in product resourcing activities, Inventory Rebalancing program, cost saving and supplier inventory program, sourcing for alternate part solution, the operational process enhancement and etc.

Qualifications


 

 

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent. Degree in fields such as Business Administration, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management will be added advantage.
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently.
  • Typically at least 4 years relevant experience for entry to this level.
  • Positive mindset, proactive attitude, strong teamwork, and good communication skills
  • Skilled in Excel/PowerPoint/MS Power BI/Copilot
