As the Manager of Business Development your job is threefold: (1) Lead a team of BDRs to create qualified opportunities for the sales team, (2) Train other members of the BDR team, and (3) take on operational and administrative tasks to help the BDR team perform and exceed expectations. You will be a source of knowledge and best practices amongst the BDRs, and will help to train, onboard, and mentor new BDRs with the help of the Learning and Development team and Director, Market Outreach and Development. The Manager, Business Development will report to the Sr Manager of Business Development.
What you'll do:
- Train other members of the BDR team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities.
- Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for cold calling to conduct business to business sales grow
- Ensure BDR team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring 1:1s
- Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs.
- Actively drive performance/productivity KPIs by conducting 1 on 1 coaching/ goal setting, problem solving, and assist with identifying performance and market trends
- Work closely with the Demand Generation and Sales team.
- Work closely with Sales and the Demand Generation team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
