Position Overview
At Autodesk, data is the backbone of how we understand and engage our customers. As a Data Strategist on the Data Governance and Policy team within Go-to-Market Data & Intelligence, you will act as the owner of our customer data, defining the roadmap, prioritizing problems, and ensuring our data is trustworthy, accurate, and able to support a wide range of business use cases.
You will translate pain points and requirements across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product into a coherent data strategy. Through structured problem solving, clear prioritization, and close collaboration with Data Analysts, you will drive improvements that enhance the quality, clarity, and flexibility of Autodesk’s customer data.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, product thinking, and cross-functional alignment, and who wants to shape how Autodesk understands and engages its customers.
Responsibilities
Own and evolve the customer data governance roadmap for assigned area, aligning to Autodesk’s GTM strategy and operational needs
Identify and prioritize customer data problems, incorporating qualitative insights from stakeholders, and quantitative analysis
Translate business use cases into clear data requirements, ensuring customer data is structured to support multiple workflows without conflict
