Position Overview
Are you an early‑career backend developer excited to learn how large‑scale cloud platforms are built and operated? At Autodesk, we’re building the future of cloud platforms on our next‑generation Consumption platform. As a Software Developer (New Grad), you’ll contribute to real services used globally while learning from experienced developers in a supportive, collaborative environment.

You’ll work on well‑defined tasks, gain hands‑on experience with distributed systems, and develop your skills in reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. If you’re passionate about clean architecture, scalable platforms, and growing your impact, you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities

  • Implement features and fixes in backend services under mentorship, writing secure, reliable, and maintainable code with unit tests and clear documentation

  • Learn to build and optimize microservices and event‑driven components that support Autodesk’s Consumption platform

  • Participate in code reviews (both giving and receiving feedback) to learn best practices and maintain high code quality

  • Follow Agile practices: estimate tasks, participate in stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives with guidance

  • Troubleshoot and resolve routine code issues; escalate and seek guidance on unfamiliar problems

  • Assist with production deployments, basic operational tasks, and monitoring as part of end‑to‑end service ownership with oversight

  • Use Agentic AI‑assisted programming tools responsibly to increase productivity and code quality, guided by team standards
