We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Global Facilities team in San Jose, CA. This is a strategic, high-visibility role responsible for managing complex capital projects across ADI’s global portfolio, including sites in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of project delivery, from early-stage programming and cost estimating through construction completion and close-out, while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives for cost, schedule, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Project Delivery: Directly lead and manage construction projects across ADI’s global portfolio, including offices, R&D labs, and cleanroom facilities. Maintain full ownership of scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Engage and coordinate external design firms, contractors, and consultants as execution partners while ensuring consistent standards, governance, and reporting across all regions.

  • Project Initiation & Planning: Develop project charters, define scope, objectives, and deliverables; conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to support investment decisions.

  • Estimating & Budgeting: Prepare detailed cost estimates, ROI analyses, and budget forecasts; track expenditures and manage financial controls to ensure on-budget execution.

  • Design & Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal customers, IT, Security, EHS, and Facilities Design teams to translate user requirements into design solutions and construction documents.

  • Procurement & Contracts: Develop RFPs, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts with design/build firms and general contractors; administer master construction agreements and project addenda.

  • Permitting & Compliance: Coordinate permitting activities and interface with governmental agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

  • Scheduling & Execution: Oversee project schedules, milestones, and deliverables; proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Change Management: Review and approve change orders, invoices, and progress payments, ensuring adherence to budget and scope.

  • Quality & Safety Oversight: Enforce ADI’s safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to management on project status, financial performance, and risk exposure.

  • Close-Out & Turnover: Manage punch-list completion, as-built documentation, warranty collection, and final acceptance.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing construction projects from conception through close-out.
