Focus on customer solutions involving high-volume, mission-critical OLTP/OLAP environments, batch data processing, and the design and deployment of future-state, petabyte-scale data warehouse services; build and/or design reference configurations to support customer needs and promote adoption of AWS services including RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift. 2. Utilize customer-facing skills to represent AWS within customer environments and lead discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation. 3. Collaborate with AWS Platform Service Engineering and Architecture teams to support the success of project consulting engagements with customers. 4. Conduct solution design reviews and collaborative architecture sessions to ensure alignment with customer requirements and AWS architectural standards. 5. Work directly with customers’ technical resources to devise and recommend solutions based on clearly understood requirements. 6. Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in enterprise environments to inform solution design and implementation. 7. Analyze on-premises database environments such as Oracle, SQL Server, or other commercial database engines and support migrations to open-source engines like AuroraPostgreSQL/MySQL, Redshift, or DynamoDB. 8.
