What you'll do
You will independently execute Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) activities to support assigned products or programs, ensuring configuration integrity, data accuracy, and traceability across the product lifecycle. You’ll work autonomously within established processes, applying configuration management standards while collaborating cross‑functionally to influence alignment, quality, and compliance outcomes.
The day-to-day
- Maintain configuration and data management activities for assigned product(s) and/or program(s) in accordance with defined CM/DM processes.
- Ensure accurate configuration control, versioning, baselines, and data integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
- Apply EIA‑649 principles to guide configuration management decisions and execution.
- Own day‑to‑day CM/DM support for assigned products or programs.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to resolve configuration or data‑related issues.
- Identify, assess, and appropriately escalate complex issues, risks, or gaps to senior CDM personnel.
- Use PLM tools to manage configuration structures, releases, and supporting data.
