We are looking for a Software Portfolio Manager (SAM) to manage software licensing portfolios, subscription renewals, compliance activities, and vendor engagements for enterprise customers.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders, publishers, procurement teams, and customer functions to ensure software assets are optimized, compliant, and aligned with business requirements.

This role requires strong stakeholder management, licensing advisory capabilities, and hands-on experience with SAM tools and enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage software procurement, renewals, and subscription lifecycle activities
• Optimize software usage through rightsizing and license re-harvesting
• Ensure software compliance and support remediation activities
• Prepare operational reports on usage, inventory, cost, and compliance
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and publishers
• Provide software licensing and deployment advisory support
• Consolidate software demand and support budget management
• Coordinate with global teams and participate in stakeholder meetings

• 4-6 years of professional experience in the licensing industry with proven Software Asset Management (SAM) / software licensing experience across publishers.
• Excellent command of English (written & spoken).
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Proficient in Software Asset Management (SAM) licensing knowledge.
• Experience managing enterprise software portfolios and renewals
• Exposure to licensing compliance and optimization programs
• Knowledge of major software publishers and subscription models
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in interacting and presenting ideas to partners ranging from operational to senior management levels.
• Strong understanding of virtualized environments, active directory/SCCM.
• Experience using ServiceNow Request Management Tool.
• Any SAM tool experience.
• Customer-facing experience is mandatory.
