Practical Information 

Location: Budapest, Hungary | Reports to: Head of Platform Engineering | Work Arrangement: Hybrid (1–3 days/week in office) | Visa Requirements: Valid visa for Hungary | Language Requirements: Native level of Hungarian and professional English, written and spoken 

As a GCP Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, build, and operate secure and scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work on real-world projects with a focus on Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, collaborating with DevOps and platform teams to apply GCP best practices and grow your technical skills in an international environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, deploy, and manage GCP infrastructure with a focus on networking components such as VPCs, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS 
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for GCP resources 
• Build, automate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions 
• Collaborate with development and platform teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure cloud solutions 
• Create and maintain clear, up-to-date technical documentation 

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including participation in real-world projects 
• Good understanding of GCP networking concepts such as VPC design, firewall rules, load balancing, VPN or Cloud Interconnect, and DNS 
• Practical experience using Terraform to deploy and manage GCP resources 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions 
• Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
