Role Purpose The Transportation Specialist is responsible for the seamless execution and optimization of logistics operations. This role focuses on enhancing transport efficiency, ensuring compliance, and managing day-to-day coordination with service providers to meet Schneider Electric’s high standards for lead time and cost-effectiveness. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence: Execute and monitor daily inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring schedule accuracy and proactive troubleshooting of logistics bottlenecks. Forwarder Broker Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure SOP compliance and service quality. Logistics Data Analysis: Perform regular 'Analysis of Change' on logistics costs and performance metrics to identify and implement productivity improvement opportunities. Project Support: Assist in implementing regional and global transport projects, particularly focusing on flow optimization for orders moving through Korea. Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Maintain and update SOPs for domestic/international freight and customs clearance, ensuring all partners adhere to updated guidelines. Stakeholder Collaboration: Closely align with Commercial, Finance, and Regional Planning teams to support business continuity and supply chain agility. Reporting: Prepare and present monthly performance reviews and KPIs, identifying risks in the current transport model.
