Job description

As a Safety Engineer at Schneider Electric, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a robust Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) department for our rapidly expanding Modular Data Center Business. In this dynamic environment, you will support the development and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs by assisting in the resolution of safety issues and driving improvement initiatives. This role helps deploy EHS policies and standards across the organization and leads prevention‑focused projects aimed at reducing workplace accidents, occupational illnesses, and associated costs. Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining appropriate metrics, evaluating data trending, and providing data input to management reviews, with a view to continuous improvement and enhancement of EHS performance. Support the implementation of EHS policies, practices, guidelines, and procedures. Identify location-specific requirements for each area and participate in the development of related programs and policies. Assist in developing training programs and conduct training to comply with regulatory corporate EHS initiatives. Coordinate incident/accident investigation process including root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed. Conduct environment, health and safety audits and risk assessments.
