Senior Tender Engineer-Services

Job description

We are looking for Senior Tender Engineer to join our team in Qatar to own the end-to-end tendering/quotation process for Services opportunities, delivering accurate, compliant, and timely technical-commercial proposals that strengthen customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities: Analyze customer requirements and RFQs/RFPs; clarify scope, assumptions, and deviations early Lead customer meetings/workshops for scope clarifications and solution preparation Respond to customer queries and provide timely technical clarifications during the tender phase Prepare comprehensive quotations based on schematic/single line diagrams (SLDs) and customer specifications Configure and price solutions using Schneider Electric quoting tools and relevant business systems Submit complete tender proposals within deadlines; conduct follow-ups and support negotiations Support contract/terms alignment by coordinating inputs and approvals from internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and required approvers Support tendering governance for modernization initiatives and Services offers Recommend solutions that enhance safety, resiliency, and operational efficiency Coordinate inputs across sales, engineering, project execution, procurement, and finance to close gaps quickly Ensure a smooth handover to the project management/execution team, including documentation of scope, assumptions, risks, and key commitments Review customer specifications in detail and ensure adherence to compliance standards of key customers and relevant governmental entities, in line with country regulations Maintain high quality and traceability in…
