Job Summary

The Red Hat Software Engineering, part of the CTO office,  team is looking for a highly motivated student who can join us in the Raanana office and who wants to gain hands-on experience with open source and Red Hat products. In this role, you will work with diverse projects using different programming languages, frameworks and environments. We value bold ideas and thinking outside of the box and courage to make a difference. In our team people feel empowered to contribute and be comfortable taking risks and exploring the unknown. But being a Red Hatter isn't just about being brave, it's also about demonstrating commitment and sticking to it. 

What you will do:

  • Play an active role in one or more of the projects: Data Center Management, x2ansible, cost management on prem or OpenShift migration advisor

  • Contribute to new feature development by building, testing, bug-fixing and designing; contribute to open source projects in Golang, Python or TypeScript

  • Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) flows

  • Work with upstream communities/partners or customers to improve Red Hat driven open source projects or products

What will you bring:

  • Experience in development in Golang, Python or TypeScript

  • Familiarity with linux containers and OpenShift or Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
