from Reddit careersThe Test Engineering team within the Quality Engineering (QE) org is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who can work in a highly collaborative environment, design/develop tools, test frameworks, and define processes to help the teams to own and be accountable for quality. The mission of the Quality Engineering org is to enable quality in all engineering teams at Reddit by providing robust test tools and frameworks that help establish quality standards across the development pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Help in building an Engineering culture that enables quality in all software feature development teams across Reddit.
- Develop and evolve test automation frameworks, tools, and services.
- Analyze production issues, identify test gaps across the entire testing stack and make systemic improvements to automated testing
- Maintain test infrastructure stability in non-production environments.
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
