Responsibilities About the Role Join us as a Lead Architect at Principal Financial Group and drive the architecture strategy across multiple business units! Responsibilities Architecture Build and Review: Lead the creation and review of logical and conceptual solutions for programs and epics, focusing on agentic architecture builds. Well aware with Agentic Architecture and Patterns. Experience in working with RAG based architecture and Agentic workflows! Techno-Functional Leadership: Lead initiatives across the wider community, advising and mentoring architects and senior architects across various business units. Architecture Compliance: Coordinate with enterprise architects, application teams, and infrastructure groups to assure conformity with architectural guidelines. Work alongside others to formulate the overall architecture strategy and major organizational initiatives. Collaborator Management: Conduct collaborator management by aligning all necessary collaborators with the architecture and mentorship. Guidelines and Trends: Bring industry-wide guidelines and external technology trends to the workplace, and adapt them to our needs. Delivery Collaboration: Work closely with delivery and business partners to ensure architecture mentorship is shared throughout business units. Present solutions to these collaborators effectively. Community Engagement: Actively participate in the architecture community, propagate architecture practices, and conduct roadshows or other sessions to demonstrate these practices. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate architectural risks, analyze risks, and report problems to management. Technology Radar: Build and maintain a technology radar for business units, ensuring that we stay ahead of technological trends. Qualifications over all 18+ years with minimum 5-8 years Proven experience in architecture, enterprise architecture, AI, and cloud technologies (specifically AWS). Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide others. Comprehensive knowledge of business, technical, and functional domains. Ability to adapt to multiple architecture domains and seamlessly cross between them. Strong collaborator management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and risk mitigation strategies.
