Responsibilities About the role: As a business operations risk manager, you identify, assess, monitor, and reduce front-line operational risks from business activities, processes, systems, and external events. You collaborate closely with RIS senior management, leaders in India and the US, and other risk teams across PGS and Principal Financial Group. Together, you ensure the operational risk framework matches the organization's strategic goals and risk tolerance. This role offers an opportunity to join a highly daring team and develop a detailed risk management system. What You’ll Do Build and maintain procedures to ensure they align with company policies and standards and satisfy all applicable risk and compliance expectations. Conduct regular operational risk self-assessments and reviews to identify and evaluate the key operational risks and controls within the RIS organization. Track and communicate the operational risk indicators, incidents, losses, and action plans to senior management and the appropriate committees. Collaborating with Enterprise Risk, support the operational risk scenario analysis, RCSA’s, and stress testing to measure the potential impact and probability of acute events.
