from NXP Semiconductors careersAs a System Architect you will be responsible for system/product architecture development for microprocessor & microcontroller portfolio. You will work across hardware and software engineering teams to design robust solutions that meet the demanding requirements of power-efficient heterogenous computing, media processing, and communication in industrial and automotive segments. This role requires a deep technical understanding of MPU and MCU System, SW & HW architecture, Applications/Solutions Engineering, and system integration.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the definition and development of MPU & MCU system architecture, ensuring alignment with market trends and industry standards.
- Work with product marketing to understand customer requirements and use cases and translate them into detailed specification for Industrial IOT, Secure Connected EDGE Computing, and Automotive products.
- Define scalable and efficient computing architectures, including multi-core processing and memory hierarchy.
- Own key performance indicators for programs and drive optimization.
- Design and integrate security mechanisms, including secure boot, cryptographic accelerators, and trusted execution environments.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and firmware teams to ensure seamless system-level integration of MCU components.
- Develop strategies to optimize performance, energy efficiency, and thermal management while maintaining reliability and scalability.
- Contribute to industry standards and drive innovation in MPU and MCU architectures.
- Define architectural guidelines, best practices, and documentation to guide product development teams.
