Netflix is one of the world's leading entertainment services, with over 300 million paid memberships in over 190 countries enjoying TV series, films and games across a wide variety of genres and languages. Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

Netflix's Content Programming Strategy & Operations (CPS&O) team is looking for an Associate to join its EMEA team based in Amsterdam. CPS&O develops strategic insights to further the company's global entertainment efforts. Senior management depends heavily on the CPS&O team to accurately measure business performance and lead the strategic analysis used to inform important content decisions. This role sits at the intersection of programming strategy, scheduling operations, and licensing — helping to develop a holistic view of the EMEA content slate to inform strategic discussions and support key content decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A sample of work could include:

* Managing launch planning for priority titles in EMEA, serving as the go-to resource for upcoming release dates and driving cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment

* Conducting analysis of key scheduling drivers, audience viewing patterns, and content performance indicators to optimize EMEA slate engagement

* Contributing to the ongoing development and innovation of scheduling tools / systems

* Regularly presenting analyses and reports on content performance and key business metrics to senior leaders

* Supporting regular portfolio reporting cycles to track EMEA content health and inform ongoing strategic decisions

* Monitoring programming performance trends across the EMEA content slate - tracking what’s working by genre, content type, and market - to surface insights that support programming decisions

* Tracking and compiling competitive intelligence on industry trends, licensing deals, and content strategy across EMEA

* Coordinating across a broad set of cross-functional partners (Content, Finance & Strategy, Marketing, Product, Consumer Insights, local & global CPS&O) - cascading updates, gathering feedback, and ensuring alignment on EMEA content priorities

QUALIFICATIONS:

* 3+ years of experience at a top management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategy, business development, or analytical role; or similar experience in highly analytical environments where complex modeling and analysis is performed

* Passion for entertainment and an avid consumer of content

* Ability to communicate complex analyses clearly and concisely to executives and senior management, including through well-structured presentations

* Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis; comfort building models and synthesizing large data sets into actionable insights

* Familiarity with the TV/film licensing landscape — deal structures, windowing, Pay 1/2 strategies, or content acquisition — a plus

* Strong initiative and ability to work independently; able to adapt in a fast-changing environment and manage multiple priorities

* Highly intellectually curious, comfortable questioning existing approaches and proposing improvements, with high personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics

* Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint and/or Google Sheets / Slides
