The Principal UI/UX Designer will serve as the senior-most design authority within the product organization, responsible for shaping the end‑to‑end user experience across Trellint’s smart mobility platform. You will drive the UX vision, design strategy, and interaction patterns for key product areas including eTIMS, mobile enforcement tools, and curbside management solutions.In this role, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer teams to create intuitive, accessible, and scalable user experiences that address complex municipal workflows. You will be hands-on in design execution while also mentoring other designers, influencing product direction, and establishing best‑in‑class design standards across the organization.
Job Description:
ResponsibilitiesDesign Leadership & Strategy
- Own and articulate the UX vision and long-term design strategy for Trellint’s product ecosystem.
- Define design principles, patterns, and frameworks to ensure cohesive, consistent experiences across all user touchpoints.
- Drive early-stage conceptual exploration through interaction models, prototypes, wireframes, and user journey mapping.
- Advocate for UX best practices, research-driven design, and data-informed decision making across teams.
Product & Experience Design
- Lead the design of complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and multi-device experiences for municipal and field‑operations users.
- Partner with product managers to translate requirements into intuitive, user-centric solutions.
- Produce high-fidelity UI designs, interaction patterns, and documentation that support R&D implementation.
