Summary
Department Introduction
The Manufacturing Engineering team is responsible for enabling safe, high-quality, and efficient manufacturing operations. The team partners closely with operations, maintenance, EHS, and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement, equipment reliability, and world-class manufacturing performance.
Position Overview
The Manufacturing Engineer demonstrates advanced area knowledge to optimize manufacturing performance through problem solving, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role focuses on implementing corrective and preventive actions, driving strategic and tactical solutions, and enabling sustainable improvements across safety, quality, and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Champion a proactive safety culture by identifying hazards, implementing preventive solutions, supporting EHS and PHA systems, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and training requirements.
- Drive quality excellence through deviation reduction, post-mortem facilitation, qualification strategies, and establishment of leading indicators to prevent equipment and process variation.
- Improve tactical manufacturing performance by reducing unscheduled downtime, optimizing maintenance strategies, and supporting recovery plans and risk mitigation for planned and unplanned events.
