Our Opportunity Summary

For over 43 years, Micron Technology has led innovation in memory and semiconductor technologies. We’re an international team developing groundbreaking technologies that transform how the world uses information.

  • Support Micron’s New York site development by leading construction project management activities focused on site logistics, infrastructure, and contractor coordination.

  • Manage schedule, cost, quality, and safety across multi‑phase projects from pre‑construction through commissioning.

  • Collaborate with design teams, trade partners, vendors, and authorities to deliver production‑ready facilities using digital tools, BIM, and data‑driven execution.

  • Ensure alignment with Micron standards, regulatory requirements, and construction best practices in a fast‑paced, large‑scale industrial environment.

While you may not possess all the skills listed below, we seek a team member eager to grow in technical breadth and depth. If you’re open to learning from top-tier engineers, we’ll help expand your skills in this unique opportunity.

What’s Encouraged Daily:

  • Coordinate site logistics planning across internal teams, contractors, engineers, architects, vendors, and external agencies for material delivery, access roads, and site amenities.

  • Manage project schedules, budgets, scopes, and resource alignment from planning through execution.

  • Lead progress reviews, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to protect schedule and cost targets.

  • Ensure construction safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to Micron quality standards.

  • Oversee permitting and approvals with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).

  • Manage deliverables and documentation using Micron’s project management information systems (e.g., Procore).

  • Utilize BIM, digital field tracking, and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and predictability.

  • Monitor contractor performance, enforce design specifications, and drive continuous improvement practices.

How to Qualify:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Demonstrated experience managing large‑scale industrial or commercial construction projects.

  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to make decisions with minimal guidance and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.

  • Knowledge of construction safety requirements, codes, and industry standards.

What Sets You Apart:

  • Certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent.

  • Experience with semiconductor, industrial, or highly regulated construction environments.

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Procore, BIM platforms, and digital construction tools.

  • Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.

  • Broad experience in facility and building management with strong computer skills across project‑based platforms.

Our team's vision is to develop your skills in an inclusive, diverse environment across global teams. We provide a collaborative environment with groundbreaking technology to accelerate your career growth.
