Micron is seeking a Global Trade Specialist to join our Global Trade Compliance team. You will work with various team members to support Micron’s trade compliance program, including performance of import and export classification activities, supporting various aspects of import and customs operations, and performing certain export screening and diligence activities as well as other trade compliance related tasks.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
The following duties are crucial to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform import and export classification activities with a focus on semiconductors, electronics, and encryption.
- Enhance existing classification processes through process improvement initiatives.
- Perform denied party screening activities, diligence on prospective customers, vendors, and business partners, adjudicate potential screening matches, and support general export compliance activities.
