Job description

Develop and deploy new suppliers for critical technology in a fast-pace, high mix, low volume environment. Development of outsourcing capabilities for capacity flexibility, and extensive lead time reduction. Development of plans and metrics for annual cost savings. Develop and maintain suppliers' core competencies to support local/global business requirements Manage supplier capacity plans and articulate constraints for long term planning Negotiate contracts (purchase agreements, ISA's, CIA's and etc.) and identify/execute on pricing inflection points Manage Lam liabilities at suppliers through claims and balance sheet review processes Manage Lam working capital through lead time strategies including postponement, consignment, and inventory stocking strategies Business continuity planning and risk mitigation. Develop and maintain working knowledge of Lam's quality management system and properly apply quality procedures and operating procedures as appropriate Receiving deemed exports of EAR or ITAR controlled technology Carry out technical and commercial projects and all other additional duties as assigned.
