• Purchase goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
• Support purchasing function and other relevant departments and communicate any supply problems which may impact on business operations
• Act as an interface between suppliers and other relevant departments on purchasing processes and new projects and activities.
• Solves a broad range of procurement-related problems of varying scope and complexity.
• Perform procurement activities such as Supplier Quotations, Contract Negotiation, Material Purchasing in supporting Revenue shipment, Supplier Risk Management, Supplier Performance Evaluation, Safety Stock Management, Inventory Management, Business Continuity Planning, and Procurement Strategy Development.
• Build up good supplier relationship and partnership in achieving procurement goals
• Assurance of Supply and Supplier relationships:
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with suppliers
  • Negotiation for the best pricing, MOQ, Lead time and terms
  • Manage the material forecasting to suppliers
  • Expedite to ensure continual flow of materials
  • Resolve the PO problem and closure of shipment hold/payment issue in timely manner.
• Work closely with others in the procurement function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements
• Support and align with procurement key deliverables to achieve cost saving, inventory management and assurance of supply matrix.
• Always ensure full compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ITAR requirement in all purchasing related activities.

• Bachelor or Masters Degree or University Degree or equivalent. Typically, 5+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
• Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in job and ability to work independently
• Able to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
• Strong teamwork and communication skills 
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficient in Microsoft applications: Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Power BI, RPA etc
