from Google careersAI Garage is a new initiative within People Operations (POps) and Corp Engineering, established with the goal of leveraging AI to transform Google’s HR products and operations. Our team sits at the intersection of Business, Product and Engineering to ideate, design and launch industry defining Agentic systems and capabilities. We are a cross-functional team of AI specialists who work with business teams to design impactful, industry defining AI solutions by re-imaginging existing workflows, and engage closely with engineering teams to develop, test and deploy them.
Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and high-level design of innovative, AI-driven solutions, focusing on significant business value, user experience, safety and compliance.
- Lead workshops with subject matter experts to analyze incumbent processes and redesign them into agentified workflows.
- Establish key success metrics, measurement frameworks, and ROI models for AI solutions, partnering with analytics teams. Drive the change management strategy and execution required for the successful adoption and scaling of transformative AI solutions.
- Define and execute the strategy for agentic AI for a high impact People Operations product area. Act as a "go-to" expert on industry trends, best practices, and emerging capabilities in AI.
- Prepare updates and present strategic direction to senior POps and Corp Eng leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals. Ensure all AI deployments adhere to strict safety constraints, maintaining human-in-the-loop verification and ethical AI principles.
