The Google Cloud Consulting Professional Services team guides customers through the moments that matter most in their cloud journey to help businesses thrive. As an Enterprise Architect, you will work with customers to transform their businesses through the innovative use of Google Cloud Platform. You will work cross-functionally, providing pre-sales enterprise architecture support, solutions delivery and migration, and engineering expertise for Google’s largest customers. As part of the professional services team, you will work on customer request for proposals (RFPs) and proposal processes, partnering with Sales and Customer Engineering counterparts to deliver technical architecture and services strategy. You will help inform the scope of services staffing and timelines.

You will advise customers on architecture best practices and architectural blueprints as the foundation for migration to Google Cloud. You are part of a team that will propose, develop, and implement new approaches as well as strive for execution consistency, and repeatability for these engagements. You will represent and deliver best practices across the areas of infrastructure/application/data modernization and more. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally within Google, as well as support our services partner community.

Italy: €122000 - €126000 (EUR) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Work with prospects looking to move their enterprise IT estate to public or hybrid cloud, providing enterprise architecture, goal, and recommend professional services to enable digital transformation.
  
• Recommend and document migration paths, integration strategies, and application architectures required to successfully implement complete solutions using best practices on Google Cloud.
  
• Oversee technical delivery excellence, exceptional customer satisfaction, and accurate estimation of customer outcomes.
  
• Drive the capturing, developing, and sharing of best practices internally and externally to accelerate implementations.
  

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience performing customer-facing services focused on translating enterprise customer needs into cloud architectures and approaches.
• Experience in developing solution architectures through system design techniques (e.g., distributed systems, designing a system under certain constraints, simplicity, limitations, and tradeoffs).
• Ability to communicate in English and Italian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
• Ability to travel 20% of the time as required.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in cloud architecture, with a broad set of enterprise use cases.
• Experience implementing cloud or software projects in corporate environments.
• Understanding of modern application migration and modernization approaches.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving and influencing skills.
