Responsibilities
- Design and maintain high-quality evaluation protocols to assess model capabilities, identify gaps, and measure headroom within the legal, financial, and healthcare sectors.
- Propose novel data solutions and execute rigorous, end-to-end experimental plans to address known model limitations, construct entirely new capabilities, and demonstrate measurable improvements.
- Propose, build and rapidly iterate on new ideas based on the team needs.
Minimum qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in LLM modeling (pre-training or fine-tuning).
- One or more scientific publications in the ML/AI conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience applying AI/ML techniques to any of these domains (legal, finance, or healthcare).
- Experience taking research from concept to product.
- Experience with collaborating or leading an applied research project.
- Experience with JAX.
