Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. <h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul>
<li>Develop innovative computer vision and machine learning technology for applications in the field of spatial AI and context awareness.</li>
<li>Productionalize innovative computer vision, deep learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the area of third-dimension (3D) scene understanding, including the design and implementation of such algorithms targeted at XR devices such as headsets and glasses.</li>
<li>Lead the charge in developing and deploying Sensing across a range of XR products and use-cases.</li>
<li>Collaborate strategically, directly interfacing with system owners to jointly define roadmaps for major XR  perception endpoints.</li>
<li>Scale our impact by developing robust systems and processes that ensure XR perception can support geometric and semantic sensing across a range of products and use cases</li>
</ul>
<h3>Minimum qualifications:</h3><ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.</li>
<li>2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.</li>
<li>1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).</li>
<li>1 year of experience with Computer Vision (e.g., image classification and processing, object detection, visual search), video generation, or signal processing.</li>
</ul><br><h3>Preferred qualifications:</h3><ul>
<li>Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.</li>
<li>2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.</li>
<li>Experience developing accessible technologies.</li>
<li>Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.</li>
