The General Mills India Center (GIC) in Mumbai serves as a global capability center supporting enterprise-wide functions across Supply Chain, Digital & Technology, Finance, HR, and other strategic business areas.
About the Role
General Mills is looking for a passionate and experienced Sr D&T Analyst – DnA, Supply Chain to support the digital transformation of the Supply Chain organization through Data & Analytics capabilities. This role will focus on enabling data-driven decision-making, operational visibility, and innovation across key Supply Chain functions including Fulfillment, Inventory, Transportation, and Customer Operations.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with Supply Chain business teams, architects, analysts, and Agile PODs to deliver scalable analytics and cloud-based solutions aligned with General Mills’ Digital Supply Chain strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Supply Chain SMEs and D&T teams to understand business processes and analytics requirements.
- Support development of data-driven Supply Chain capabilities leveraging Cloud, AI, and analytics technologies.
- Analyze Supply Chain data to generate insights, solve business problems, and improve operational efficiency.
- Translate business requirements into technical documentation and actionable development tasks.
- Work with cloud-based DnA platforms and enterprise analytics capabilities.
- Contribute to innovative Supply Chain solutions such as Digital Twin, Control Tower, Predictive Analytics, and Real-time Alerting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to support project delivery and continuous improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in Digital Supply Chain and Data & Analytics.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of overall experience with 5+ years in Data Analytics or Business Analysis roles.
- Strong expertise in SQL and Data Analysis.
- Good understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing & Analytics concepts.
- Experience in Supply Chain analytics and business process understanding.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with GCP BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
- Knowledge of Python and ETL concepts.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Agile-Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to AI/ML and cloud-based analytics platforms.
- Experience in FMCG/Supply Chain domain preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Supply Chain processes.
