About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical PhD Chemical Engineer to apply advanced modeling and simulation methodologies to solve complex food process and product design challenges. This role sits within ITQ’s Nutrition, Technology & Science organization at General Mills India Center and partners globally to drive innovation, efficiency, and product quality.

You will combine first-principles engineering, multiphysics modeling, and data-driven approaches to design, optimize, and scale next-generation food processes.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Excellence (70%)

• Apply chemical/mechanical engineering fundamentals (fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, reaction kinetics, process dynamics).

• Develop mechanistic, multiphysics, and hybrid (physics + ML) models.

• Use process/system modeling, CAE, CFD, CAD, and programming tools (Python/VB).
