We are proud to have the support of the best investors in the game who believe in our mission, solutions and people. Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Staff Product Manager to own Flexport's Catalog, Search, and Booking roadmap within Commerce Tech. You'll work with two engineering teams and data science to improve the quality of our product catalog (~300k service offerings), ensure clients and operators can discover offerings effectively, and deliver a friction-free booking experience.

This role's importance grows as Flexport exposes these functions directly to clients through our Instant Price & Book initiative. Gaps absorbed internally today must be hardened for external users who expect seamless experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and drive the product roadmap for Catalog, Search, and Booking over a multi-year horizon, aligned to strategic company initiatives.

- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, designers, and operations specialists across two engineering teams and partner dependencies.

- Work directly with executive leadership and senior business stakeholders across all modes and geographies to secure buy-in for client-facing experiences.

- Define end-to-end customer experience requirements, translating complex business needs into clear technical requirements with a bias towards simplicity.

- Establish and maintain catalog quality metrics, ensuring offerings are comprehensive, differentiated, and discoverable.

- Lead change management for cross-domain projects, standardising system boundaries and processes across modes and regions.

- Own deployment best practices, process monitoring, and operational metrics for services and interfaces within scope.

- Make data-driven decisions using self-serve analytics to manage the team's progress and impact.

Job Requirements

- 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager; experience with enterprise software and/or supply chain is a plus.

- A track record of creating scalable, closed-loop workflows in complex, multi-input environments.

- Technical competence — may not be an expert, but can talk shop with the best of them.

- Experience collaborating with and inspiring engineering teams with a focus on accelerating development velocity.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate prioritisation decisions clearly to senior leadership.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience leading change management for cross-domain projects in a global organisation spanning multiple time zones.

- Demonstrated ability to take imperfect data and ambiguous situations and determine a path forward.

Commitment to Equal Opportunity

At Flexport, our ability to fulfill our mission of making global commerce easy and accessible relies on having a diverse, dedicated and engaged workforce. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, physical and mental disability, health status, marital and family status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
