About the team and the role:

We are passionate about connecting buyers and sellers around the world and creating opportunities through commerce and technology. Our responsibilities include all aspects of shipping, to empower customers through state-of-the-art ecommerce delivery experiences.

We are seeking a seasoned, highly motivated and analytical Lead Product Manager for eBay. This high-visibility role spans shipping platforms, APIs, and buyer / seller purchase experiences for our global marketplace. The ideal candidate possesses a robust technical background and extensive product management experience, is highly data-driven, and demonstrates a proven record of effective leadership and measurable impact.

As a Product Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap, and execution and experimentation across customer journeys to optimize for speed and costs while building trust in the marketplace. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data science, and other product teams to develop scalable solutions that remove complexity from sellers and reduce costs across the shipping journey.

What you will accomplish:

  • Define and drive the product vision and strategy for a seamless shipping experience aligned with eBay’s broader shipping strategy:

    • Relevant shipping options

    • Best shipping prices

    • Reliable carrier invoice reconciliation

    • Transparent shipping label billing experience

  • Partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and fellow PMs to deliver AI-powered solutions to reduce shipping cost for both sellers and buyers

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers while remaining hands-on by directly owning and driving a select set of strategic, high-impact initiatives from ideation through execution

  • Establish clear product metrics, set hypotheses, and run A/B experiments to measure impact on seller adoption, cost savings, and buyer conversion.

  • Collaborate with international teams to scale capabilities globally and ensure alignment with logistics partners and marketplace policies.

  • Communicate product vision, progress, and findings clearly to partners and executives.

What you will bring:

  • 12+ years of product management experience, ideally in ecommerce, or AI/ML-driven products.

  • 3+ years of team leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and scaling high-performing teams

  • Strong analytical approach; able to define and track success metrics using data.

  • Solid understanding of solving business problems using AI and ability to connect data science outcomes in meeting business goals

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering delightful customer experiences.
