What you'll do Docusign is looking for a Head of Brand Strategy to serve as a key architect of our brand’s long-term evolution. You will bridge the gap between high-level market intelligence and world-class execution. You will partner with key internal teams, including Group Creative Directors, Product Marketing, Corp Comms, and Analyst Relations, while operating as a strategic partner to our VP Brand. The ultimate customer is external C-suite economic buyers such as the CFO, CIO, and GC.You will be responsible for shepherding where the Docusign brand lives today as a category leader, to where it must go tomorrow, as a category platform owner, ensuring that every brand touchpoint is rooted in deep market insight and strategic intent. This position is a people manager reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Creative. Responsibility Build and own a multi-year brand and category roadmap, including category naming and positioning, developing and evolving the brand positioning, architecture, and messaging frameworks that differentiate Docusign in a shifting landscape Establish baseline measurement of category and brand share of voice and revamp measurement infrastructure Own the development and governance of naming and nomenclature across products and experiences, ensuring a clear, consistent, and customer-first system Partner cross-functionally (PMM, Product) to drive alignment, reduce fragmentation, and uphold a scalable naming architecture that reflects the brand strategy Partner with PMM on AI Surface Strategy for Docusign Iris across variety of strategic AI Partners Build a strategy for unprompted recall lift + SOV on category vocabulary Own and govern our revamped verbal brand identity; ensure adherence across the company by winning hearts and minds Work closely with copywriters across the company. Partner with our business strategy ops team to identify emerging markets, analyze market saturation, and pinpoint white-space opportunities for brand growth Lead brand health and sentiment research initiatives, turning raw data into actionable insights, ensuring we have a pulse on how customers, prospects, and the industry perceive us Move strategy from a slide deck to the real world, overseeing the execution of strategic pillars across the Brand & Creative team, ensuring consistency and impact Bring the brand to life in a way that is clear, compelling, and deeply customer-centered, championing bold ideas and high standards, translating strategy into stories and experiences that energize teams and create shared belief, and act as a cultural catalyst across functions, aligning stakeholders around a common vision and motivating the company to deliver work that is both meaningful to customers and impactful to the business Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent experience 12+ years of experience in brand strategy (in-house or agency) Preferred Experience within a high-growth B2B or SaaS environment Comfortable diving into market data and research reports but possess the brand gut to know which insights actually matter Can distill complex market dynamics into a clear, compelling narrative that inspires designers, writers, and executives alike Know how to influence without authority and build strong partnerships with creative leads to drive the best possible work Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $146,400.00 - $235,375.00 base salary Illinois: $140,100.00 - $197,925.00 base salary Washington: $140,100.00 - $206,775.00 base salary This role is also eligible for the following: Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
