The Cisco Common Platform Services (CCPS) organization is transforming how Cisco delivers software-as-a-service by providing a modern, consistent, and secure platform for all! Within CCPS, the Cloud Software & Solutions (CSS) group designs and develops OpenStack, DNS, OSaaS and Kubernetes platform solutions with an emphasis on quality, stability, simplification, user experience, scalability, performance, and portability. We are looking for a Software Leader joining our team and building scalable cloud-native applications and services. 

 

Your Impact

  • Provide functional leadership and people management for a distributed team of professionals embedded across various Scrum teams. Participate and guiding team in on‑call rotations, incident response, and post‑incident reviews to ensure platform reliability. 

  • Guiding and participate in the design, implementation, and evolution of OpenStack-based private cloud solutions and hybrid cloud infrastructure with a focus on high availability and performance.  

  • Guiding and participate in design, deploy and maintain the enterprise DNS architecture, including authoritative DNS, recursive DNS, forwarding, delegation, DNSSEC, and DNS service integrations to support hybrid cloud environments.
