Your role is expected to excel at switching power supply design review. It is imperative that you possess a robust understanding and practical experience in the intricacies of power supply design and knowledge of how to quantify the design robustness and reliability. This specialized knowledge is crucial for the development and optimization of the highly efficient and reliable power delivery from facility power grid to networking equipment.
Your responsibilities encompass the end-to-end quality and reliability management of power supply units, advanced design and manufacturing technology evaluation, as well as supply chain resiliency management. You will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
Design Expertise: Ensure the designs meet technical requirements. Craft the design margin measures to quantify the design robustness at all applicable operating conditions and worst-case tolerance. This includes the specific circuitry tolerance analysis, the worst-case component stress measure against SOA (safe operating area), firmware control logic examination, transient operating status evaluation and redundant operating evaluation etc.
